QATAR AIRLINES POISED TO ORDER 60 7E7'S
AN EXCLUSIVE AIRBUS CUSTOMER UP TILL NOW
THEY HAVE EXPRESSED VERY STRONG INTEREST IN
ORDERING THE STRETCH VERSION OF THE 7E7.
THIS WILL BE THE FIRST BOEING ORDER FOR QATAR.
QUANTAS AND ANOTHER UNSPECIFIED EASTERN AIRLINE
ARE RUMOURED TO BE IN THE DECISION STAGES AS WELL.
THE ORDER BOOKS ARE FILLING RAPIDLY AND EVERYONE
SEEMS TO BE VYING FOR DELIVERY SLOTS, AS CAPACITY
IS RAPIDLY BEING FILLED.

I think they also would like to postpone the deliveries of their A380's until 2009 .... but not sure about that.

I think it's Qatar, not Qantas, Qantas is the Australian airline and they only have A320s and A330s as their Airbus carriers, others are Boeings.
Well as a passenger, I would want Qatar to support Airbus to go ahead with the A350 as that would mean more diversity for us passengers!

sorry just realised Qantas is also in the frame...
I can't wait till Airbus to confirm the A350, if they do, it will surely be better than 7E7 as there is no point to introduce an inferior product to compete.
