One of the oldest African airlines, still in operation.

Air Burkina will come under the American control, from january 2021. Not every day that we see Americans investing, in this French-speaking (and even somewhat English-speaking) zone, in the aviation. It is rather the Chinese, or the countries of the Middle East, in recent years

Project to add A220s, ERJ145s and Cessna Caravan, from 2021. That seems correct to me, perfectly suited to the regional market.

The Cessna Caravan, to serve remote corners, in Burkina, with low traffic, but with a need to transport food and pax, quickly.

The ERJs could fly, on the domestic ( Bobo Dioulasso-Ouagadougou, or Bobo-Abidjan service) and short flights, in the sub-region, like Niger and the A220, in the sub-region, on destinations with highest demand: Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mali, Ghana, Benin and Togo

Hoping the business plan is good this time ... -americain (French)

Ethiopian has dedicated another aircraft to UNHAS, United Nations Humanitarian Air Service missions.

ET-ALJ, a November 2003 B767-300, has been painted anew in August and started immediately her new life operating primarily for the WFP in Africa and Asia. Transporting passengers and cargo.

Lima Juliet replaces the 3-year older ET-ALH that fulfilled the same role since 2012 and that I saw in Entebbe in 2014. viewtopic.php?t=55564

(I always wonder if these billboard UN titles reduce the risk of being shot at or is rather an invitation to do so in some areas …)

Lima Hotel flew probably her last flight to KMRJ / Pinal Airpark on 31JUL, 20 years and 13 days after her first flight.
