False information, even at this moment (*) : both FR24 and Planefinder.net show that OO-ABA is still on the ground at Paramaribo.

(*) Schiphol.nl also mentions "We don’t know all details for this flight yet. Check back soon". But with so much practical information on the screen, like "delayed 13h07", many people will assume that the aircraft is enroute.

Its amazing to me that they've found 500 paying volunteers for these flights. It shows that Belgium has a passion for aviation. Well done.

I look forward to reading the TR's in the appropriate forum.

Come on now, could you please stop whining about this.
We get it, you’re disappointed because the 250+ seats were sold in seconds and you couldn’t buy some.
However, stop blaming others when you missed 2 opportunities please, AB isn’t to blame here.

Well I was disappointed that I missed both flights but that happens also with concert tickets etc; I hope all the AV geeks and members from Aviation24 had a good time :)

Well I apologise me, let's go for something else...
Does someone have more info about Xi'an, Beijing and Pudong from Charleroi ?

Actually, Air Belgium should be thankful for what you pointed: "no queue". What will happen when someone online takes the last 4 seats, then goes through the whole process, but finally cancels on the payment page?

Apparently Schiphol still waiting for info on Paramaribo flight and 00-ABA. :-)

Yep. Very misleading information since yesterday evening. When you see "ETA 12h20 -> Delayed 13h07", you would expect that the flight is enroute, and just delayed a bit. When you then click on "Flight details", you get the same info again, now with another remark "We don’t know all details for this flight yet. Check back soon."

Why is so difficult to add "Delayed 22th April"? Imagine this would happen with the Brussels Airport's website: some people here would immediately say "...Only one word for this airport: incompetent"... Or "ignorant". Or "suicidal".

On approach to EBCI, OO-ABB levelled off at 4000ft and did a pattern before landing on RWY07.

Screenshot 2018-04-21 20.08.15.png

An FR flight from VLC didn't want to wait and diverted straight to EBBR.

The other FR on arrival landed shortly after AB.

Anyone knowing the reason?

To be honest, 25 EUR for this kind of special flight is a quite fine bargain. Had they demanded 250 per pax, I'm sure there would have been no demand for a second flight. I think I skip writing a trip report, I'm sure some guys here will do it better than me and they are probably also quicker with photo uploads (I still have to hurry my pics through LR).

Besides: Andre & everyone else from Aviation24.be (may I still call it Luchtzak?): it was a pleasure to meet you, sorry for not remembering the names. See you at some airport (BRU? ;) )or on a flight somewhere in the world!
Best regards,
Viktor

They actually used Shopify for the rehearsal flights, not the « real » booking system.
With Shopify, items are removed from the stock when paid, so it’s « first paid, first served ». If you make it to the payment page, you could very well end up not getting what you have in your basket with the message « this item is now out of stock ».
I don’t really think this is unfair, it’s pretty standard (even if other stores « hold » items for some time when you add them to the basket, but in any case this is Shopify’s design.
