They are deporting Qatari citizens living in Bahrain, KSA, and UAE! Shows you how civilised they are!
I for one will never fly any of the ME3! No need to sponsor terror and dictatorships!

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is in talks to bring back Pakistani passengers of Qatar Airlines stranded in Doha after Saudi Arabia and four other Arab countries cut off ties with Qatar, an official said on Tuesday.

The Pakistani passengers were supposed to fly to Saudi Arabia via Doha to perform Umrah, a religious ritual, at Mecca.

This looks like a potential serious long term crisis though....

Qatar’s $1-billion ransom deal to release royal family members kidnapped in Iraq was allegedly one of the reasons the Gulf monarchies’ decided to severe diplomatic ties with Doha, the Financial Times reports, citing sources close to the case.

IATA calls for restoring air links with Qatar

The International Air Transport Association has called on the countries that acted against Qatar to restore air links with the country, warning of major travel disruptions. "Of course we accept that countries have the right to close their borders," said IATA director general Alexandre de Juniac. "But connectivity with Qatar must be restored as quickly as possible."

There is possibly a big pressure from oneworld on IATA. Many oneworld airlines rely on QR for connecting flights!

On related news, Kuwait plans to mediate the rift between Qatar and the governments of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and Bahrain.

UAE threatens Qatar sympathisers with 3-15 years in jail and fines no less than (equivalent) EUR 120.000..
Including people posting on social media, whatsapp, e mails. in other words anyone questioning UAE stance on Qatar will be robbed by the state and imprisoned!!!
Way to go!!! Qatari students in the UAE not allowed to finish their terms.. and exams in June.. families with dual citizenship asked to leave the UAE!!! Even infants!
Food for thought before booking a flight On Emirates or Etihad!

I agree!
Dictatorships... and supporters of terror...ME3 are not private companies, but those diactatorahips' visiting cards.. we should avoid them.. had they bee privately owned, that would have been different... we are not boycotting UA because we do not like Trump!

Are you discovering who are QR and EY ? For that reason I never fly them.
I guess EK is a private company...but maybe I'm confused ? One of the two EAU companies is public and the other one is "private". But not in the sense that we hear it in us no doubt.

Price is the first option passengers / customers will choose over any other choice.

The flight to GRU will stop at ATH!

The African flights (North and Central Africa) have been rescheduled already, with some "later" arrival times.
Amman time lessened or increased due to route over Iraq?
Beirut routes over Iran and Turkey now, increase in time.

"The World" versus Q? Again, what a blown-up title.

AFAICS, it is rather "the potentates from the nearby tent camp" standing up. "The world" remaining remarkably silent.

But I will admit this is only political speculation, admins pls. feel free to remove.

No need to apologise, mon cher. It wasn't you who created that thread title, I think? All is up to the moderator team - as long as they can live with it, who would I be to complain?

And yes, indeed, being remarkably silent is really an act, a deliberate act.

It's not the world vs Qatar

It's KSA, Bahrain, UAE, Maledives, Egypt, Jemen, United States and Israel
against
Qatar, Iran, Syria, Russia ...
