An article in ch-aviation says "bmi regional set to assume two Brussels Airlines' routes". As it is available only with a paid subscription, does anyone have more information?
If I have a guess, I would say that bmi regional will continue to fly the SN routes to Bristol and Newcastle, but under its own name.

Does that mean the flight is performing below expectations? It was announced as a year-round service.
Re: Brussels Airlines in 2017
Probably Bristol, but I think Newcastle is a bmi flight with SN codeshare. It could be Nuremberg or Bremen both operated with bmi's ERJ145.sn26567 wrote: ↑17 Oct 2017, 11:51 An article in ch-aviation says "bmi regional set to assume two Brussels Airlines' routes". But how can you create a market that way....it's not reliable !!!
I mean this is a hub market not spot to spot....so you need time and flexibility to get passengers.....very strange to me how they do.
Hasta la victoria siempre.

I think that Erevan is mainly a touristic destination. As such, a weekly flight during summer is sufficient.

Just saw on twitter that SN will get 2 A340 aircraft. From summer 2019 they’ll operate for EW long haul.

Hopefully the oil prices won't raise too much, otherwise the cost will become very very high... If true ofcourse.
Re: Brussels Airlines in 2017
And the flight is mainly marketed to the Armenian diaspora, which is apparently significant in Belgium. So SN doesn’t have to put too much effort into filling those flightssn26567 wrote: ↑17 Oct 2017, 14:29I think that Erevan is mainly a touristic destination. Re: Brussels Airlines in 2017
Based in DUS, operated by and crew from SN. Complicated.

Some more news on this: the plan signed off by LH is to have 2 A340 planes up and running end of March next year already, with 2 more being added every IATA season, to a total of 6 for summer 2019!
Initial destinations are likely to be: Los Angeles, Miami, New York, ...
The growth from DUS comes on top of the growth in BRU of course...
