Thanks to qatar i guess... which seems to stay around a lot despite the move to lux...
This year, without those 3 TNT 777, it will be another story...

Qatar has announce new cargo routes from LUX.
But when you look carefully at the qatar schedule *, most flights are doing DOH-LUX-America, when all return flights seems to pass thru LGG before returning to DOH.

Now, why such an asymetric routing, no idea ...

http://aircargoworld.com/qatar-adds-fou ... f-flights/

The first flight of qatar cargo to their new destination in south america left from LGG.

It looks like LUX and LGG are potentially sharing everything.

Edit : it seems to be due to a parking limitation in LUX
"Qatar frage regelmäßig an, ob Flüge möglich sind, so Jossart, was aber aufgrund der begrenzten Parkplatzsituation mit derzeit acht Stellplätzen nicht immer der Fall sei, zumindest nicht zu den gewünschten Zeiten. Wie Qatar-CCO Ulrich Ogiermann am Samstag dazu auf Anfrage erklärte, nutze Qatar Airways aufgrund der Parkplatzproblematik wieder verstärkt den Flughafen Liège."
"Qatar regularly asked whether flights were possible, according to Jossart, but this is not always the case due to the limited parking situation with currently eight parking spaces, at least not at the desired times. As Qatar-CCO Ulrich Ogiermann stated on Saturday on request, Qatar Airways is increasingly using Liège airport due to the parking problem."

Qatar people, dont bother with LUX when LGG can do it all ! :)
But yeah... lets not forget why they started : kill cargolux.
A bit like ryanair in BRU in the end...

Problems looming for the Chinese flights operated by VIM Airlines? I read the following title on ch-aviation:

Russia's VIM Airlines ordered to pay debt to former bank

But I can't read the article, which is only available for paid subscriptions...

Today, the Polish region of Malopolska (Krakow) welcomed a delegation of the Province of Liege.

Did this delegation fly from Liege Airport (which would be logical if they want to promote it), and if so, with which aircraft?

Nope. Another try? Maybe they flew from BRU with SN after all?
