Shooting inside Fort Lauderdale Airport arrival hall: 5 dead, 8 injured

So far, five people dead and 8 injured taken to hospital. The lone shooter taken into custody. FLL airport closed until further notice.

The shooting took place in the baggage collection area. The reasons are not known.

Apparently one shooter. A man came in on an Air Canada flight with a gun in his checked luggage. After landing, he took his bag, went to the toilet, came out with a gun in his hand and started shooting.

The shooter has been arrested and police is now checking the ID he had on him. The name on the ID has been released by CNN.
