The route between Antwerp and London city is a reality now. Does anybody know what is the load factor like? Is VLM satisfied with the results?

On the first day, VO103 and VO110 had load factors of about 60%. In my view that's a little too low, but it might have improved since then.

Little as I know of commercial air transport, I think 60% is not bad at all, certainly not in this early phase. This is (or at least it used to be) a high-yield route, it doesn't need 95% load factor to be profitable.

the first day, on these flights they had invited pax
for the moment they have a load factor of 25 %
let's hope they will grow with 5 % a month

Hadn't noticed it yet but it's basically the TCAB livery with new titles and logo's. Still looks good though, better then VLM's own livery.

For who?

A) SHS Aviation Antwerp NV dba VLM Airlines
B) Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium NV dba VLM Airlines

A) could get one
B) can get one revoked

So it looks like these A320s will initially operate charter flights from BRU to holiday destinations, in competition with TUI and SN.

Where do the A320 pilots come from? All the TCAB pilots have been transferred to SN (except one: Jean-Christophe Degen, the managing director of TCAB, a licensed A320 pilot, works now as chief of operations for VLM).
