Nope. Dutch media report that he did his last F70 flight last Tuesday. He will soon fly on a KLM 737 (the new royal toy is a BBJ).

EK75 diverted to Larnaca baby born on board.
Why not Ankara or Istanbul whiich were closer.
Good question, it took around 50 minutes to land.
Ankara is not an Emirates destination
I guess it was not an urgent medical emergency, the baby was already born when they landed in Larnaca.
The best medical services in Cyprus?
The baby was born, what could Cyprys provide that Turkey could not? to me both are in the same category just that one is another religion and part of EU, also isnt the job of pilot to save fuel? they could have gone to Istanbul if not Ankara,

Maybe a visa issue? EU country versus non-EU country?

Visa is not an issue at medical emergencies.
Emirates EK even diverts to Tehran, Iran with a US passenger with urgent medical needs.

Emirates use a US-based system MedLink.
MedLink will also advise the closest airports the flight could divert to, based on the medical services available at those points.

There was also a second emergency on board a woman with an epileptic seizure.
