Yep. PH-BFL. that's the 747-400 who had some triple-trouble recently.
But this time the circumstances are beyond KLM's control!

Air Berlin flight AB7416 of 25 Feb from Dusseldorf (DUS) to Cancun (CUN) (A332 reg. D-ALPC) diverted to Daytona (DAB) due to smoke in the cockpit.

A relief aircraft is being sent by oneworld partner American Airlines to Daytona to take the passengers to Cancun. Passengers will probably see their vacation shortened by one day.

Also on The Aviation Herald: https://avherald.com/h?article=4a56b597&opt=0

Edit: "UPDATE 5: Flight AB7416. We are deeply sorry but the flight from our partner AA is delayed. We will communicate new arrival time asap."

After just one hour on the ground, repairing a "minor" technical issue (and refuelling), the same plane PH-BQK is on it's way gain to Sao Paulo.
All in all, the total delay for the passengers remais limited so far (3 hrs).

Replacement aircraft for AB7416 passengers is en route to Daytona Beach: positioning flight AA9462 from Philadelphia (A333 reg N271AY). New expected arrival time in DAB at 12.12 local. Departure DAB 13.30 - Arrival CUN 15.40 (more than 24 hours late, and no possibility of exit from the transit area of DAB airport: pax don't have a valid ESTA  )

Also in The Aviation Herald: https://avherald.com/h?article=4a573820&opt=0

"immediately at or after becoming airborne the left hand engine (CFM56) emitted a huge bang and streaks of flame prompting tower to advise the crew, tower had seen flames from the left hand engine, but everything looked normal again. The crew advised that they had an engine stall, the engine was running normal again, no fire indication. The airport initiated a runway inspection, which did not find any debris on the runway. The crew initially continued departure but stopped the climb at FL140 advising they weren't sure about continuing the flight and entered a hold to burn off fuel and return to Zurich."

And another problem on top: "...According to local information Daytona Beach Airport has no tools available needed to unload an A332, therefore the luggage can not be transferred from the occurrence aircraft to the replacement aircraft. In addition, this weekend is the Daytona 500 race, therefore no accomodation is available in the area... Passengers were told that the occurrence aircraft is going to be repaired, then is going to carry the luggage to Cancun. The luggage can not be transferred to the replacement aircraft due to lack of needed ground support. Initially the passengers were told their entry to the USA was denied and they therefore could not be taken to hotels. A replacement aircraft would arrive in the course of the night at about 01:00L, however, the flight (AA-9460) was delayed..."
