The story of SN357 in The Aviation Herald: http://avherald.com/h?article=4a8edf8a&opt=0

The aircraft ... landed safely back on Brussels' runway 25L with open gear doors.

Flight SN357 (and the return SN358) were eventually cancelled. No replacement aircraft available?

The story of SN3169 also in The Aviation Herald: https://avherald.com/h?article=4a8ee1e1&opt=0

The aircraft was able to depart again after about 80 minutes on the ground and reached Naples with a delay of 2:10 hours.

Bird strike during flight NSI-DLA , borescope was necessary and crew reached duty limit .

Of course a good reason...!! In one week flights to FIH, an other one to ROB and this last one had some problems... terrible for credibility !

Is your "terrible credibility approval rate" limited to Brussels Airlines only? Because actually, KLM is having a series of technical issues the past few weeks, causing grounding of the aircraft for more then 24 hours. Excluding bird strike incidents:

PH-BVK: engine damage, grounded at Shangai
PH-BFV: engine damage, grounded at Bejing
PH-BHA: engine damage, grounded at Rio
PH-BHF: fuselage damage (ground collision at AMS)
PH-BVA: engine damage, grounded at Hong Kong

Sorry to tell you that it is not by listing the problems of others that you solve the problems of SN. I remember that it flies with planes that lose pieces!
Ten planes. One week. Three cancellations. This is in itself a feat! The long haul is a lottery and the lack of fleet reinforces it. I like SN when the planes are in the air and the service is superior to many others but to read your argument I look to whom you push me nicely ...QR/EY/EK ???

I don't now if you fly long haul on Brussels Airlines but it's true the cancellation problem is a real one here and believe me I love Brussels Airlines it's my airline...
I'm not going over all what I said before about this subject but really they need to do something about!
Hasta la victoria siempre.

Incident from Saturday 14th May 2016:

"A Helvetic Airways Fokker 100 on behalf of Swiss, performing flight LX-788 from Zurich to Brussels, was accelerating for takeoff from Zurich's runway 28 when the crew rejected takeoff at 80 knots over ground reporting they had no airspeed on the first officer's side... A replacement Embraer ERJ-190 registration HB-JVQ reached Brussels with a delay of 110 minutes...."

Hi,
Woke up very early in the Midlands to find out at EMA that our BMI Regional flight to BRU is delayed for more than 2 hours. As the plane is coming from BRU does someone know why? Thx for the feed back.

There was a C-17 on approach rwy 25R around noon, I think it made a missed approach our touch and go as I saw it airborne a couple of seconds later.

Friday 19th May: TB-5785 ANR-BCN Antwerp-Barcelona was scheduled with OO-JEM - a TUI Embraer ERJ190, ETD from ANR at 13h30 local. But the flight was delayed, and then cancelled.

OO-JEM's arrival at ANR was delayed by some three hours: BCN-ANR (TB-5786) apparently had a technical problem at Barcelona just before departure: the previous landing there (TB5435 Ostend-BCN) was on schedule.

The aircraft positionned from Antwerp to Brussels on Friday evening (take off from ANR around 20h35, landing at BRU 20h50).
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/oo-jem/

Passengers at Antwerp Airport complained about the lack of information about the delay. TUI replied to local newspaper Gazet van Antwerpen that there was a serious technical issue, and that the Antwerp-Barcelona passengers will all receive 250 Euro compensation:
