It feels so long before people understand the situation and evacuate... they also stay quite close while the plane is burning...

Kinda wondered why they would send a (compared to the MD-10F) rather recent bird to storage (N603FE was "only" 23 years old when they send it to VCV and build as a freighter) while keeping a 44 year old converted pax plane (yet updated to MD-10 standards) operational.
