With BelgiumExel from BRU to Thailand, Zanzibar and Kenia

Post by blackhawk »

As of November 1, BelgiumExel will fly weekly to Phuket in Thailand on behalf of Thomas Cook and BEST Tours. They will use a 767-300. Also Thomas Cook Holland will put their passengers on the flight of BelgiumExel. BelgiumExel will also fly to Zanzibar and Kenia.

---------------------

The ''GOA'' Flight will also be operated by BelgiumExel Airlines not by a 757 Condor :D

I think a 757 is to little for goa :)

How will passangers be transported to brussels if they have to come from Holland? Maybe an idea for a new exel partner?

BelgiumExel flying Brussels-Phuket

Post by Erna »

Just phoned Thomas Cook reservation desk and they didn't know a thing about it: I kept telling them it was in the newspapers, but I was met with a lot of disbilief... still waiting for them to call me back.....
Anyone have an idea of the price for a round ticket Brussels-Phuket?

Thanks,

Erna

Zanzibar is already in the list of destinations (http://www.biac.be/timetables/) but no further information available. It was also confirmed by some people at the chatbox a few days ago.

Thailand: price starts at € 789,

I made a search, can someone confirm these days?:

BRU- Phuket: on Tuesdays
BRU-Zanzibar: on Sundays
BRU-Mombassa: ?

HI Flyexel,

You seem to know something about exelmatters. Are there any plans from exel to grow in Belgium? Do you have any thoughts/rumours/ ideas of the expansion plans of exel in Europe (projects running etc.)?

It's nice to see that BelgiumExel will take the pax from Holland as well and not vise versa.

The exact routing is BRU-GOI-HKT-GOI-BRU, and the weekly flight is confirmed.

The Goa pax will not return to Brussels via Phuket, as they would have to spend an extra 8 hours on their way back to Brussels.

Flying from Goa to Phuket for about 3h30, a turnaround of about 1h30 and then 12h30 back to Brussels instead of flying 9h45 non-stop from Goa to Brussels ... I don't think so?

The route to Mombasa and Zanzibar is not new, it is already in operation.
