USA delays at Brussels

Post by liebensd »

When I was watching the arrivals of Brussels this morning I noticed something strange. All the flights from the USA are delayed with one hour. Do someone knows why?

Greetz,

Dave

Yesterday, AA and DL from NYC were delayed each by more than 3 hours!

But I don't know why....

The weather in the JFK/EWR area wasn't good. Broom, heavy rain, thunderstorms, etc.
Today the same thing all US inbound are delayed:
AA172: 1h30 delay
DL140: 1h delay
DL124: 1h delay
CO060: 1h delay

THanks for the info Brubiac.

Such delays can also occur when the winds (jetstream) aren't like foreseen.

Today, the AA/SN flight has even a bigger delay:
14/08 08:45 Chicago ORD AA 088 Delayed 13:10

Will AA beat the Icelandic(?)-delays? :p

Most delays because of hurricane Charley.
