It's the second time that this unusual flight appears on the board in less than a week. Again cancelled.
A pending charter or the start of a new route for BRU?

Qatar Cargo is flying its 7 all cargo flights with their A330F but one of the flights is upgrading to a B777F on the route Halifax-Brussels-Doha.

In May an eighth rotation will be add and Qatar becomes one of the most important cargo players at BRU

All winners are from thr sponsors list if i understand correctly. A big joke it is.
My messages reflect my personal opinion which may be different than yours. I beleive a forum is made to create a debate so I encourage people to express themselves, the way they want, with the ideas they want. I expect the same understanding in return.

No it is not! LHR sponsered, did not win. Other examples too. LGG sponsered the Air Cargo News awards last month and won! So also a joke? No. But organisers try to look for sponsors, especially amongst their finalist. That is commonly know. As a logistics platform BRUcargo is doing a lot of good things. Without the political restrictions they would be much bigger.

Oh, and another one... First 2 times BRU won they were not a sponsor...

Since a few days, or almost a few weeks, we can see regulary the B747-400 of Atlas Air at Brussels Airport.

DHL is using this type of aircraft for their new cargo route ex-BRU. The plane is flying from BRU to Oslo, than to Seoul, Shanghai and Cincinnati back to BRU. There will be three flights a week.
Brussels and Shanghai will be the key points on this route around the world.

This new route is very welcome.

Indeed, it's an ACMI agreement (Aircraft, crew, Maintenance, insurance)

What to think of this? Error or something new in the brucargo pipeline?

Haven't heard anything about it (yet), but it would be nice to see the 747-8 on a regular basis (again) at BRU :)

Y8 is to be expected indeed. RU (AirBridge Cargo) was 'in the air' but unless they arrive I believe these where slots requested 'just in case' before they decided to move their flights to LGG.

AirBridgeCargo was in contact with Brussels Airport regarding the slot problem at AM. This doesn't mean that in that time the requested already slots, that was not the case when they started the talk and to check.

But after it changed and now slots are requested to start up flights just like the new flights Y8 would like to do.
As from the moment that the slots are requested like SQ did, RU, EK and Y8, than it is already visible on the Cargo timetable. But when it will be executed (to start up or the cancel the slots) is a matter of time.

Ik looks like there are no longer RU-flights on the timetable. So it probably was "just in case" indeed.
Y8 still on and still "cancelled".
