The B777-300 (9V-SYE) is the first plane of SQ to get the new Star Alliance scheme. There is one exception though and that's the tail. Unlike the other Star Alliance members SQ hasn't painted the tail with the Star Alliance logo. !!!!

At least that's better than a full Star Alliance livery

I like how they kept the Singapore Airlines tail.
I hope this is done for any planes which will be repainted undet the Star Alliance livery.

Captain,
Tour picture does not show.
Maybe it is the new trend for StarAlliance. It would leave something orginal from the operating airline, while clearly showing the adhesion to an alliance.

I think that the SIA livery is very classic and nice and shouldn't be changed.
But I wonder if SIA will be painting one of its B744's in the Star Alliance colours ???

Just saw the pic on airliners.net, the livery looks great! Is that the first 777-300 in a Star Aliance scheme?
