Sobelair's first Boeing 737-300 had reportedly been sold to Islandsflug after the demise of the airline.
Boeing 737-329 OO-SBZ (23775 LN:1412) made her maiden flight on 30/06/1987, had flew for Sobelair (in three different liveries: classical cheatline, grey shade letters and "World of Tui" blue) since 17/07/1987 when the carrier when bust.
Afterwards she was to fly as TF-ELR but was eventually not taken up. In mid Augustus the bird will fly for German carrier DBA as D-ADII.
As a reminder, DBA seems to have a cruch on Boeing 737-329s since the airline had already operated two former Sabena of the same series.

Yep, but if they have the same plans with this 737-329 as with the others, then it won't fly for a long time with DBA.OO-SBZ wrote: As a reminder, DBA seems to have a cruch on Boeing 737-329s since the airline had already operated two former Sabena of the same series.

I first flew aboard my nickname-sake from BRU to LDE in the early nineties when she was still wearing the classical blue cheat-line. IMHO that was her best livery.

Later on I made a round trip above Liege in this same bird. At that time she was in white, with grey bill-board sabena markings and middle blue Sobelair title.

The last time I saw her she was about to depart from LGG to TFS... in the "World of Tui" colours.

I am eager to see her in the near future.

Bravo Zoulou en route to DBA (update)
For weeks I had been searching the web for information about OO-SBZ's future when I read this:
As a result, it looks like OO-SBZ is to fly again
In September 2004 Bravo Zulu was flown to Southend to get a new registration (and maybe some work done)
larger view of OO-SBZ @SEN larger view of N775AA
German aviation web-sites reported Bravo Zulu was to join DBA's fleet in 11/2004. Yet better late than never...
Any pic of OO-SBZ (or N775AA or D-ADII) in her newest guise would be welcome
