New London Gulf Air service
GULF Air yesterday launched its daily service from Dubai to London Heathrow.
It means the airline now operates the greatest frequency of flights to the region out of Heathrow.
"Due to the increasing demand for flights from Dubai, Gulf Air is expanding its network to meet customer needs," said airline president and chief executive James Hogan.
"The addition of the daily flight from Dubai means that travellers between the UAE and UK now have even more choices with Gulf Air," he said.
The daily Dubai flights are in addition to the twice-daily flights from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow.
Flights will depart Dubai International Airport at 11.30am arriving in London at 5.55pm, including a 30-minute layover in Bahrain. For the return leg, the flight leaves London at 8pm and arrives in Dubai at 9.40am the next day.
Customers from Dubai will travel to London in one of Gulf Air's Airbus A340 aircraft.
