EK with 77L, starting in december on Sundays with 77W.
EY again double daily, as previous seasons
TG again 4x a week, extra on Sundays.

LC (Equatorial Congo Airlines):
BZV - CDG - BRU days 2-4-6
BRU - CDG - BZV days 2-4
BRU - CDG - PNR day 6
Flights of LC are all operated with 757.
Dear Kapitein,

We are now at the end of August. Normally the slots for Winter 2014-2015 should be known by now. Do you have any confirmation about the info above?

Thanks

As already known, EK is coming and 9W will still be flying to BRU.
TG is indeed 4x weekly
EY keeps their schedule as it is, no increase of services
Onur Air has returned the daily IST slots

So the only big question is LC, I heard something about it but now it's again very quiet.

Very uncertain when it will be but the next new intercontinental destination ex-BRU will be Japan.
There are already for years the needed negociations between the two countries but it seems that it will not take that long now anymore. Let's hope.

What I heared today was that SN could be taking over 3 destinations of Lufthansa, it would be Accra, Bamako and Libreville.

This would be hard if this doesn't come with an additional plane (from LH?).

Well, if SN flies to Libreville, it would be probably in connection with kinshasa, Bamako and Accra will probably be in a triangular flight as well. However it s possible that a new 330 will join the fleet next summer.

That plane has already been earmarked to increase frequencies on some African destinations during the winter season. It is not available for new destinations.

Nope. Neither LH, nor any airline of its group (LX, OS, SN, 4U) flies to any of these two cities.

See LH Group interactive map: http://lufthansa.innosked.com/(S(ozcfsx ... country=uk

LH do not fly to BKO and LBV but flies 5 times a week to ACC ! So they can give ACC to SN but...BKO and LBV is another thing...

Hi all,

Some time ago, LH was flying to Libreville (don't know the period by heart, but they did). And of course SN flew to Bamaka before.

So I think it is a mixture of taking over a flight from LH (Accra) and re-starting flights that were previously flown by SN or LH.

Makes sense. Even more so because some countries might see more difficulties, e.g. due to Ebola, and be dropped (temporarly).

If they need another long-haul aiircraft for doing so, that aircraft will certainly come.

Everything depends on what they decide in the LH Group, has nothing to do with SN as a separate entity ...

Cheers,
Danny

LH discontinued LBV last December (last flight 23-12-2013) which was a 5 weekly flight operated by Privatair BBJ2 (routing FRA-LBV-PNR-LBV-FRA) and was discussed previously on this board. Before LH it was served by LX from ZRH.

Emirates from 01FEB15 is increasing capacity on Dubai – Brussels route, with the introduction of Boeing 777-300ER service, replacing -200LR aircraft. The -300ER will be operating on daily basis.
