#28 is, of course, the nimble Irkut/Sukhoi Be-200,
8 copies of which are optioned to Hawkins & Powers of
the US for delivery in '07.

It is indeed amazing. the only thing that wasn't amazing is the "automatical" water bombing valve. :)

PS: How many Irkut/Sukhoi Be-200 are made? Or is it just a proto type?

I think EMERCOM is using one, possibly two Be-200s in
fighting fires this summer.

I would rather have a human handler let the liquids go
from an IL-76 than use pressurized vessels from a 747,
which is built to take people from gate to gate; not drop
heavy loads.
