United MD-11 at Brussels ?

Post by beco »

Although I was in my car yesterday, I think I saw an MD-11 of United take-off at around 1600 CET. Am I right or not.

UA never had MD11's, so this is impossible ;)

I guess you saw a cargo? BR/SV/GCO/WO have regular cargo flights into BRU

8O I don't think you are right :? 8)
1st: United has DC-10's, but no MD11's (I think)
2nd: The time of the UA DC-10 is over, I think

It was probably Saudi Arabian....
Maybe you should go and see an optician, driving a car in these circumstances might be dangerous not only for you but also for your fellow drivers on the road.

Take care beco, TWA

Even I can't mistake an MD-11 for a Mirage - LOL

2nd one is right, United doesn't have DC-10s any more. Most of their DC-10s are now being flown by FedEx as MD-10Fs, which are DC-10Fs with a new 2-crew MD-11 cockpit.

I hope this helps. :D

The registration of the Biman hybrid is S2-ACS, and has still been spotted in those colours on the 21st of February 2004.
I don't know if it still flies in those colours or not.

The plane was still spotted in those c/s on April 11, but as there are no flights of BG on Thursday it can't be this DC10. There were departures of SV and BR MD11s in the afternoon.

Sorry, appearently I was wrong , thanks for correcting me. I don't know how I got the impression that this special scheme had vanished :?:

So perhaps I'll have the chance to see it one day :)
