In February 2004, this Boeing 747-230 SCD underwent some (

) problem: she got jacked.

Most of us believed the bird would end up as a collection of beer-can...

German web-site http://www.skyliner-aviation.de/ reports that this Boeing 747-230B(SCD) [23286 614] D-ABYZ was tested in flight on 19 April 2004 after repairs by LH Technics @ FRA.

This sure is good news.
Both for Lufthansa and Air Atlanta who bought the plane from Lufthansa.

Think they had to replace to complete tail to get the plane airworthy again.

Are the people that are responsible for the accident punished in any way? Or is there still an investigation running?
