Yes sir, those old 707's were really good old planes. Are there any still in flying condition, or have they all been scrapped ?

Yep there are still lot's of them flying around.
The US Air Force still has a lot of them flying as Awacs and Tanker planes. Only they are told KC-135 then.

In the Mid East a company cold Saha Air is still flying scheduled pax service with B707's. I thought they have still 2 flying in this config.

Yvo

And also in the Middle East, this very nice and colourful B707 of Koda Air Cargo is still performing flights :

Indeed was due for lease to Egyptair between November 20 2003 and Februari 29 2004.
Don't know if the lease was extended.

Here is some information about the life of these 707:

B707-336C
c/n: 20762 l/n: 868
First Flight: 18 June 1973
Delivered on 29 June 1973 to Egyptair.
Aquired bye National Aviationon 2 June 1994. It also visited EBOS in these cls ( http://www.airliners.net/open.file/216735/M/ )
Aquired bye Air Memphis on 16 May 1998.
During it's period with Air Memphis it became upgraded to Stage III clasification.
Shortly after this upgrade the plane became grounded because of corrosion discoverd in the tail section of this plane. Air Memphis was able to repaire this and the plane became operational somewhere iin 2003, don't know the exact date.

Sadly the plane is written off know.

Any chance somebody can post a link to a newspaper article, news agency info or whatever to confirm the write-off and give further details ?

Thanks in advance !
