OO-SFO should be back very soon. First flight scheduled 19 March.

Any news from SN Technics about when SFM will fly again and the nature of the problem? Indeed, today SN 465 etd 10:20 to Kigali is Image

And SN 351 etd 11:00 to Kinshasa via Douala is re-numbered SN 1351...

is it maybe possible to send it back to airbus and get a new or from another compagny A330 , because this is getting ridiculous ...
this is a damaged plane after all this time ...
where was it parked or leased to after sabena bankrupted ... they might be the devils boys who made it in bad condition ...ever thought of that ...

OO-SFM seems to be still in the doldrums. And again you can see some imaginative planning by SN people:

16/03 18:45 SN 205 / AA 7443 Conakry via Dakar via Malaga A320

Whose A320, by the way?

Btw: are the SN A330-301 so old or what :?: Just a question... I tought they were ex-Sabena's, and Sabena-airbusses were (I guess) delivered first in 1994?

The 3 A333's were the very first ones to be build, and flew with at least one of them flew with Air Inter before being with Sabena.

the reason for the problems with SFN is a birdstrike monday morning. Engine had to be replaced. But there's more : SN351 was actually cancelled (douala-kinshasa), and replaced by SN1351,delayed till 1500 and then delayed for 24 hous, which would first land at kinshasa. SFN wasn't supposed to operate this flight ,but they swapped with SFM ( I haven't got a clue why...).

And check this : conakry - brussels was flown this morning by oo-ssk...

The A310 200 is from Eagle aviation.
