Fantastic photo of a fantastic aircraft, I love the TriStar (now that I have my new camera I hope I get chance to get some photos like this one).

Who owns the aircraft, the name is a little difficult to see, and does anyone have the full registration please?
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

Thanks B737229, I will keep an eye out for that aircraft. Good to see that there are still TriStars on the European registers.

I think only Portugal have still Tristar operating pax flights! So they are becoming fairly rare!

Great to see those L1011 still flying around.
Love the sounds of these planes during take-off.

Note only the take off sound but also the engine run up sound of the tristar are unique! Not to forget the smokey engine starts which were common to the tristars RR engines!

It is good to see that there are still tristars flying around these days. I wish there were still some in the U.S., I haven't seen a tristar in about 3 years :shakehead: :cry2: :dammit:

The Tristars are very rare here as well

If you want to be sure to see some, you'll have to go to Portugal where Air Luxor is based ;)

I bagged an RAF TriStar landing in Brussels on 7th September last year. I don't know why it was landing in BRU.
