SN 471 Entebbe-Nairobi was cancelled at 19h. But why?

Hello,

I just found out on the Biac website that SN flight 471 Entebbe-Nairobi was cancelled at 19:00. When i checked the departures at 18:00, it said that the plane took of a few minutes before. That time i just thought it was delayed because of the snow problems BRU had today. But why is this flight cancelled

Is there a problem with the A330 or is it because of the weather conditions?

Indeed, the flight seems to have been cancelled, and then combined with the next day's flight to Kigali and Nairobi (SN 463), which now will fly BRU-KGL-EBB-NBO this Saturday.

Hello

I saw yesterday it was airbone at 17h51???
And the arrival was previously at 12h48 this afternoon

Is it possible he came back shortly after take off or He didn't take off yesterday??

Let's see what 'll happen with the 2 african fligths today,
if one of this fligth is cancelled or operated by an other plane than an A333, there is a problem somewhere !!!

It seems that there were so many pax in NBO after Friday's cancellation of SN 471 that SN BA had to send a back up airplane to pick them up.

And, sabena4ever, as you correctly stated, that plane came from Lisbon and Euro Atlantic or Air Luxor.
