As of April 19, the Business Airline EAE European Air Express will fly from Bern to Brussels and to Düsseldorf. EAE is offering the new route twice daily Monday to Friday. It's the first time that this airliners come to Belgium and it wants to attract the businessmen travelling between the three most import economic regions.

Indeed, again an airliner comming to Brussels.

It's indeed always nice to see one additional airline coming to BRU :P but I doubt that this one will contribute a lot in the increase of pax travelling to/from Bru.

Anyway, good news for the spotters one additional plane 8)

The flights will operated daily from Mondays to Fridays

BRN-BRU
EA651 09:50-11:20
EA657 18:30-20:00

BRU-BRN
EA652 11:50-13:20
EA658 20:30-22:00

The flights will be operated by a Saab 340 (according to the Berne Airport website www.alpar.ch). Currently EAE only operates ATR42.

After Crossair, Air Engiadina/klm alps and swiss, Berne will finally be directly linked again to the capital of Europe.

EAE aims at business travellers, but I am not so sure if the above schedule will really suit business travellers. Let's hope the best :-)

In the past, this route was operated by Crossair in codeshare with Sabena, on SF3 equipment.
