Watched it
I've not learned anything new about the case, except the salary of Sobelair's F/A's, wich was not much (altough Mr Aldo Vastapan claimed it was 10 to 25% over the normal wages).
I felt deeply for the F/A's on the program. Hope everything comes right for them in the future.

A junior F/A earns €1,000... I must admit this is not much.OOODF wrote:I've not learned anything new about the case, except the salary of Sobelair's F/A's, wich was not much (altough Mr Aldo Vastapan claimed it was 10 to 25% over the normal wages).

the pilots: they always defended their salary, so perhaps it was not lowered much. But I'm sure it wasn't them who weighed most in the wage balance
so what is left ?
the management :
I assume they got fatter checks each month the higher you got.
Just my two cents,
TriStar
I saw that to on satelite. So it was visible worldwide!
I was prepared not to talk about it, and to cover with shame.
Wasn't "Le Cygne' the table were C Van Raefelghem had his daily lunch?
It looks like Mr V. had his 'inside' information dating from that time, 20years ago.
I suggest V. renames that restaurant into "Le signe (du temps passe)".

So, will the Sobelair-farce be his 'swan song' (Le chant du Cygne)SN30952 wrote:[...] Wasn't "Le Cygne' the table were C Van Raefelghem had his daily lunch?

PS: Shall I ask Aldo V. to invite me @ his restaurant? I could hopefully write a very positive review
Re: Watched it
Don't assume, it's a proven fact for Luc M.: his consultancy firm (he is the only shareholder) IMC got a 2 million € cheque. And for what? To advise to open a route to JNB where another number of million € was lost? To enable him to sleep for weeks in a luxurious suite at a JNB hotel?L-1011 wrote:I assume they got fatter checks each month the higher you got.
Shall we ever know the details of the scandalous story? Don't trust a parliamentary commission, if one is ever cretaed. For Sabena, all the politicians knew well how to protect themselves.
Disgusting...
P.S. I'm not sure that Aldo V. got any richer in that venture.
