Malev s Long Haul Fleet Renewal

Malev’s Long Haul Fleet Renewal
Malev is well into the renewal of its short-medium haul fleet. 2-737, 1-738 and 3-736’s have been delivered in the last year; there will be 12 737NG in Malev’s fleet. Malev is now selling there two 767-27G ER aircraft to an un-known customer (maybe Japan Air force, just a guess). The 767’s were delivered to malev in 1993 and are equipped with powerful CF6-80C2-B4F engines indended for –300ER aircraft. With both Malev's scheduled long-haul flights along with they’re over seas and Asian charter operations a success; they're in the final steps of acquiring new long-haul aircraft. They are many possibilities, new 767’s, 777 or A330. Personally I would love triple 7’s in Malev’s fleet, but because of its size and price I think it’s unlikely. Airbus 330’s are great planes and would fit Malev’s requirements perfectly, but does it make sense to add Airbus planes into an all Boeing fleet?
Does any one have any further info on this?
Thanks, KrisYYZ

i prefer the 777-200 to extend because i like the aircraft a lot and it is very good in fuel savings and not a lot of exhaust and noise is down ... the people would complaine less about noise .... i still also like the airbus but 777 is better for me as i am on b747 now so if we change not much conversion has to be done ...

I vote for the B767-300. I think, Malev don't need such big aircrafts, the airline is too small. I don't think, if they choose for an A330 or B777, those flights wouldn't be very full.
And since they have already a B767, they know how to handle with it, and they don't have to spend money for new trained crew, to work with a B777 or A330.
