Just saw on Focus TV (West Vlaamse Regionale Zender) that the taxiway toward the loop at runway 26 at EBOS is being extended to the runway. Now the aircraft have to taxi about 900m on the runway, towards the loop where they made a 180° turn and then took off. This will change as the taxiway will now go untill the end. They also said that the taxiways were going to be made wider, to improve taxiing-capabilities.
These works are done to meet with European standards.

I don't think that EBOS will be one of the first airports to get some A380. Especially when you see the companies which fly to EBOS.Allnipponairways wrote:are they expecting bigger jets coming in in the near future or not ... maybe the A380 cargo planes very near future or is antonov designing a bigger bird also ...
But it would indeed be great to see that bird at the airport
