MD-80 lands on the belly

It's breaking news and it comes from Istanbul.

133 on board all survived, aircraft caught fire.
They had troubles with the landing-gear.

Good job of the crew.

Dont see any fire damage on any photo so far, but it's a definate write off due to bent fuselage

Looks like Biman will have a new plane soon!

Back on topic though, the first reports of this incident in Polish media made it sound as if the whole plane burned down after landing and the passengers made a miraculous escape.
