New cargo flights loaded on Brucargo timetable

Post by Atlantis »

Only the new cargo flights are loaded. There are some surprises.

CBB: Cargo B Airlines: flights to Dakar(2 times: tue, sat), Johannesburg, Nairobi and Quito.

The flight to Dakar was, till now, a non-announced cargo destination.

TP: Tap Air Portugal: a one weekly cargo flight on Sunday with an A310.

Does somebody know which cargo airline will operate, with an A310, the route Lis-Bru-Lis? They use for their other European cargo flights EAT and MNG cargo, but both have no A310 in service.

Also a new cargo destination is München. Cathay is going to fly it two times a week starting 16 January 08.

Singapore Cargo will also fly to Kolkata ones a week starting 31.10

I guess both cities will be additional stops on existing flights?

Hi all,

I was expecting Dakar already before they loaded the schedule.

This airport is a typical feulstop station.

if they want to bring 90+ tons of cargo to europe from south America they need a technical stop.

cheers

TAP has announced now their first launch date on 7 October with one cargo flight on Sunday. Source: OAG Cargo.

It seems that Brussels Airport was a little bit early to put it two weeks ago on the day timetable.

Do you know which carrier will operate the flights ? TAP has no cargo planes (if I'm well informed)

No sorry, I don't know. They have indeed no cargo planes. In the announcement there was no name of the operator.

Brussels Airport - Brussels Airport is pleased to announce that as from Sunday October 7th 2007 a weekly freighter service between Brussels and Lisbon will be operated by TAP-Portugal Cargo. The new scheduled service, operated with leased Airbus A310-300F freighter aircraft of Royal Jordanian Airlines Cargo , will target Portugal African and Brazil markets in both directions.

"For several years already, TAP-Portugal Cargo considered the startup of a freighter service between Brussels and Lisbon, but until now we only operated a few full freight charter flights" said Karel de Ryck, Cargo Manager Belux of TAP-Portugal. "We are convinced the market will appreciate the capacity of this new scheduled freighter service on the growing market to Lisbon and connecting destinations in Africa and South America." he added.

The freight pallets will be build by WFS while Aviapartner will be handling the aircraft on the apron.
