Just found out that the A330 which is sitting grounded and heavily damaged in Cameroon is out till the end of next week and as the 'spare' A330 is 'unavailable' as well, SN will once more have to wet-lease a Tristar...
SN's 4th A330-300 has arrived at BRU!

OO-SFW is having a C-check in Madrid now. Interior, galleys and baggage bins will also be renewed.

edited after posting by author : C-check is done in ZRH, not in MAD.

LX-LGX, I think you misunderstood the article. The A330 is at the moment in Zurich.LX-LGX wrote:OO-SFW is having a C-check in Madrid now. Interior, galleys and baggage bins will also be renewed.

There you go, this plane is bought, not leased.
If it were leased from some Spanish entity who leased it first to Air-madrid it would not have been abnormal that the airplane would have had its C-check in Madrid.
Read what other people write before outing critics.

Plane was delivered to ILFC in December 1994, and is listed by them as 'leased' to brussels Airlines from May 2007.
