New face @ Brussels Airport: OREX

Post by Skystef »

Since October 6 ebbr has another nightly cargo visitor, an A300 of OREX (Orbit Express) of Turkey. There are three weekly flights to Istanbul on the mondays, wednesdays & fridays.
But as said before, they won't see the daylight with a departure time around 0400, unless some (technical) troubles delays them.

Nice plane.

Seems that BRU is doing well on the cargo front: after Singapre airlines, Eva Air extension of services, this new service. Also Liège is doing very well! Looks like Belgium is becoming more important for cargo ... :D

Indeed a pity seeing Orex leaving BRU.
Maybe the competition with MNG Cargo that flies into MST was to strong.
This because BRU and MST are close to eachother.

Sad story
I saw one of their last flights a couple of weeks ago. It was a daytime departure.

Let's hope this is just temporarly, and that they'll be here again in the future.

Perhaps also Ostend acted a part, as MNG Cargo was spotted overthere this month.
Who from the EBOS area has some answers?
