According to ch-aviation.com, VIM suspends charter ops.
I don't get access to this article, if someone has and can make a resume.
Is this new concerning U-Tours charters as well?

From 7 June a Boeing 777 will connect both cities on a weekly basis. The aircraft has a cargo capacity of 100 tons, Liege airport confirmed the news to the newspaper but refrains from further comments (but re-tweeted the news). [ 136 more words ]

At least LGG gets new ones, Brussels Airport will get 2 second hand ones. :D (but admittedly they are very nice ones, virtually unused). We had one of them at our fire department in Londerzeel for our parade this Sunday. It's a Carmichael Cobra2 6x6 crashtender ex-United Kingdom, year of construction 2003. Not sure how old the second one is, it might be slightly younger but same make & model. A local GSE dealer is currently fixing it up, painting it and making all the papers in order for use on Brussels Airport. I'll try to post some pics in the next couple of days ;)

So ridiculous this sticking to magnetic headings, with all the cost and hassle it brings. Nobody still navigates by a magnetic compass these days! Align runways to true heading and it will be ok for once and for ever!

Yes I know it takes some organisation and there is a cost for redoing all the procedures - but the longer they wait the worse it will become.

EGIS should consider Steven Verhasselt as CEO of the airports ANR and OST.
Marcel Buelens is heading towards his pension.
