Flight BD10? Connection BD - QF?

Post by Buzz »

My parents are flying to Australia in a couple of months, here's their itinery:
BRU->LHR BD146
LHR->Melbourne BD10
SYD->LHR QF29
LHR->BRU BD149
(and MEL->Launceston/Launceston->Brisbane/Melbourne->Alice Springs->Sydney)

Now here are my questions:
-BD stands for Bmi BritishMidland, doesn't it?
-Does the travelagency book every flight seperatly? Because BD & QF aren't partners I guess, QF & BA are...
-What is flight BD10? BMI doesn't fly to Australia, and I can't find anything about a code-share on their site... (it says on the page 'operated by Qantas')

Are you sure about this flightnumber? BD010?
BD010 Is flight from LHR to Glasgow.

Isn't is QF010?

From LHR you have Qantas en BA who are flying to Melbourne via Singapore.

Greetings,

It is BD10

I would guess it's a typo, but aren't those papers automaticly made? It's not a ticket, just a order-paper, made by a travel agency...

Woudn't they use connecting BA-QF flights?
