March 2017... Off to the ITB fair in Berlin ! Flying the hometown carrrier Brussels Airlines to take me there and back. On the outbound segment I booked the A320 flight in the hope to get one of the 4 Icons!
Total score: 75%
Unfortunate I got unlucky with the last minute equipment change from the Rackham to a standard A320 but at least it was a new registration in my books! Other than that a standard Brussels Airlines flight with good crew and enjoyable Buy on Board! Seat pitch however in the last few rows are very tight! just ok for this 1 hour flight but I would not be to excited to fly this bird on a longer mission. That said... still enjoyed the flight with Brussels Airlines neverthless

After an interesting few days in Berlin it was time to fly home again! I was supposed to fly back the previous day! But due to a strike in the Berlin airport I was rebooked on the saturday morning flight.
Total score: 73%
Leaving Berlin was very hecitic and everything was very unorganized making me nearly miss my flight to Brussels! Other than that another nice Brussels Airlines flight. Legroom wasn't an issue at all since I was seated in the exit row. A thing that can be improved is the addition of at least 1 or 2 real breakfast items on the Buy on Board menu! In overall with the exception of the departure in Tegel it was a good flight back home again.

Indeed the 3 last rows of the SN A320s have a pitch of only 28 inches, much worse than Ryanair! Avoid those rows at all costs! Can you imagine flying to TLV or DME in row 29? Not me...
About the absence of breakfast items in the Buy on board offering, I made exactly the same remark in my flight to Nantes last week (and the manager in charge took note. Let's see when it will be implemented!).

Hey André
Thanks for commenting
I've learned that lesson the hard way It was in favour of having a seperate row of 3
And indeed! I could not imagine a TLV flight there (or even worse... SID)
Yeah... indeed a pity about the Breakfast items as well... same story with the old Panos menu's
