Wizzair: cancelling, rebooking or no-show?

Post by PttU »

So... I'm travelling to Budapest in April. I bought tickets EIN-BUD-EIN, flying with Wizzair, but a problem arises, maybe some of you have advice or experience.

I bought tickets for Monday to Friday. But now I can join a group of friends which is going Saturday-Thursday, flying Wizz from EIN as well. I'd like to go with that group so I think I have three options:
  • Cancelling my tickets, but the cancellation fee is higher than the price of the tickets. So will I need to pay extra to get those tickets cancelled?
  • Changing tickets, but the change-fees are higher than just buying the new tickets (through the group reservation).
  • Buying the new tickets and a "no-show" with the tickets I bought previously
I was thinking to go with the third option. Or are there any "punishments" for a no-show?
