At Queen Beatrix airport in Aruba we had to board our KL 734 returnflight at gate 1.
This time it was MD-11 PH-KCK "Ingrid Bergman" that would fly us home.
Here KL 733 is arriving from AMS.
Since we were sitting in the middle ( seats 28 F and G ) and it was a nightflight I don't have any pics of the flight itself.
But I do have all the tech info from the pilots.
We took off from AUA/TNCA at 08:10PM ( local time= 02:10AM here ) on RWY 11 with a rotate speed of 165 knots ( =297kph or 185 mph ) and a weight of 256.7 tons of which 80.9 tons fuel.
Cruise flight level was 33000 feet and we flew rather far to the North because of a good jetstream there.
At that altitude we had a machspeed of 0.82 and outside temperature was -42°C. Exhaust temperature was around 650°C and fuel flow some 2600kgs/hr per engine.
Flightcrew existed of 3 members: Captain Van Schelt, 1st officer Adriaens and 2nd officer Früsch.
After a flight of 8 hours and a half we arrived at EHAM at 11:05.
We made a REDFA arrival towards RWY 36R were we landed with 149 knots ( 268kph or 167mph ) and a weight of 186.9 tons.
Having used 69.8 tons of fuel.
After a quick look in the flightdeck we deplaned to go to our connecting flight to BRU.
