After our flight from Aruba we had to take another short flight to Brussels.
We had to go to gate C2.
Since my wife had hurt her knee in Aruba she needed special assistance. We were brought by mini-car through pasportcontrol. After that we had to walk the last piece to the gate, my wife sat in a wheelchair that I pushed.
At gate C2 we were driven by bus to the remote stand where our F70 was waiting.
Assigned seats were 9 E and F but because of my wife's handicap we were allowed to sit on row 1 ( A and B )
Engines were started at 13:10 and we taxied all the way to RWY 36L ( the new one ), it took about 18 minutes to get there.
Flighttime was only 20 minutes but we climbed to FL 150 ( 15000 feet )
and got a drink and cookie.
We arrived at BRU at 14 hours, after a landing on a wet RWY 25L.
At the gate was waiting a special assistant with a wheelchair.
He came all the way with us to my parent's car which was standing in Front Park 1.

When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return."

Hope your new wife is soon feeling better.
Nice to get on both a jet and a prop of Cityhopper. The smaller KLM jets we get over here in the UK invariably have tails which are black with muck, it is a rarity to see a clean one. You never see Fokker jets belonging to other airlines which have mucky tails.
