upcoming trip flight no 200 on OAW

Post by Jumbolino »

Hi !

other than expected, because the cheap OS flights where gone away I'll spend my flight number 200 in Barbies fresh painted Fokker 100 (=Helvetic) !
And as a friend of me knows the chief of Helvetic very well I asked for a jump seat - well wait and see ;-)

But you'll get a trip rep, for sure !

Thursday Niki VIE to ZRH (maybe without trip rep, last one was colorful enough ;-) ....)
and sunday flight no 200 OAW ZRH to VIE and a Fokker 100 :-)
(I'm not too upset that OS isn't my flight no 200 ;-) I definitly like to fly the Fokker 100 :-) ....)

Enjoy your flight Jutta, and keep fingers crossed for a jumpseat ride (I've only been in one jumpseat - the very comfortable sheepskin-covered jumpseat of the 747-400.)

And photos taken from the jumpseat would look great on a report

Hi all,

thanks for all the nice comments,
but unfortuatly the don't make jumpseat rides anymore because they had too many requestors (maybe the crews went mad because of the mass of "friends" which requested jumpseats ;-) ....)

Well, my flight.
The flight itself was uneventful but nice
due to the facts that I took a lot of pic's during boarding a nice guy from JetAviation asked me if he should make a pic of me and the Barbie plane - but bad luck the pic isn't good :cry2:
Fortunatly I have a lot of good ones I like to share with you
be patient might take a while until they are loaded

Nice photos! Whatever possessed the airline to go for that pink colour  ?

It would be good if they flew routes which took them over Scarborough, would make a change from Aer Lingus and KLM, the only airlines whose livery you can easily make out when they fly over where I live :(

What was on the sandwich? It looks like prawns and salad or something.

I only once had my photo taken with an aircraft I was flying on, and that was an Icelandair Fokker 50 a few years ago.

Thx for the pix, Jutta. As I am fond of trains (too!), I appreciated the picture of the railway station (even without trains!).

I would also have liked to taste your Chardonnay :)

Thanks for telling me what the sandwich was Jutta, I like tuna too. It goes very nice with sweetcorn I think.

Andre - if you love trains you would like Scarborough at the moment, we have the Flying Scotsman steam loco running passenger services between here and York three days a week through the summer. I went to see it last week and got a photo, but I hope to get some better ones. And you really cannot beat the Belgian "heavy duty" loco, that is my absolute favourite!
