28 October I fly to Guatemala with Iberia. First it's with a 757 to Madrid and from there till Miami it's normally a 747. Then the flight from Miami to Guatemala it's with a a320....
Is it also possible that the flight from Madrid to Miami will be with an airbus A340???

Hi Peter,
On the 28 of october has Iberia 2 flights to Miami
IB 6123 MAD 12:15 - MIA 15:25 743
IB 6125 MAD 18:10 - MIA 21:35 340
But you said that you willl fly from Brussels to Madrid
with the 757( first IB flight in the morning is always with the 757)
so you will fly the B743.
And the flight from Miami to Guatemala is operated by an A319
Greetings

Re: info
According to IB's site you'll have an A340-600 on Flight IB6112 and a B757-200 on IB 3214.petarn wrote: 17/11: Guatemala city-Madrid departure 19u30 IB6112

It means that you'll be able to be on the B747-300 on your way to South America and on the new A340-600 on your way back
Enjoy your flights

Yepp, Iberia is the only european airline to have a hub in the USA. They fly to destinations in South Amerca from there, but originally the base was set up beacuse of the Cuban emabrgo.luchtzak wrote:I guess own aircrafts. Non american company has the right to fly to/from Cuba beacuse of the embargo , so a foreign company was given the right to perform the flights, and quite naturally it's the spanish flag carrier. Now they have expanded a little, and perform flights to the carribean destinations, but I think that those flights are restricted to passengers not entering the USA (so that limits the to their own transit passengers).
What a crazy world we live in
