And another thing that probably should be updated:

I am a Privilege member but your booking engine does not recognize me, what shall I do ?
Once you have entered your Privilege data into the different pages of our booking engine, our booking engine should be able to recognize your and pull your data out of our reservation system. It may be that in rare occasions (e.g. newly registered members, no miles credited yet on your account etc.) our booking engine is not able to recognize your Privilege membership. In that case, don’t forget that you will always have the possibility to mention your Privilege membership at the check-in desk at the airport. In order to get more information about the problem encountered or your Privilege status, do not hesitate to contact the Privilege Contact Center.

Privilege? As in... the FFP that was terminated, what, 5 years ago?

Almost, I think they joined M&M in 2009.

BUT, when I visit the website now...it's the old one... Maybe they realised some content was not updated (maybe they still read luchtzak? ) or maybe some things didn't work like it should work?

Sneak preview indeed...

Now, don't get me wrong. I don't have a problem with SN. I think they're a nice little airline with very good service on board. That's why it frustrates me even more to see such an amateuristic approach to their website.

I hope that indeed Brussels Airlines reads us in this forum. n a spirit of cooperation, I would like to draw their attention to the promotions that I was able to read on the first page of the new site before they went back to the old site.

I saw a promotional fare to Warsaw for 119 €. When i clicked on it, the new page said that no such fares were available until a date in July; I changed the date to December (the period in which I was interested), and there I got a fare of only 89 € : nice surprise, but apparently SN was reluctant to promote such a good fare on its main page.

The "early booker deals" start as from 69 euros (that's lower then the 'normal' promotions they show). These are valid as from 5 months in advance. As from that period of time, always check their "early booker deals". Tough Warsaw doesn't seem to be mentioned overthere (at least not on the old website). But on the old website WAW is also shown as from 99 euros in their normal promotions page... Hate that website

Could it be that the old one looks more professional?

It could also be that the new one is still full of bugs...

Whatever website is on at present : I am trying to look for a flight.

No rolling menu of destinations. No calender either.
I type the destination and the date .
Appears : "The destination city is required".
I retype it. Same result.
How do I proceed from there ?

No problem with Firefox 13 and Internet Explorer 9, with a slight advantage to the first one.

But it's still the old version of the website...

I don't know if my PC works with Chrome, Opera, Firefox or what else, but whatever it uses, it works with the websites of Germanwings, Ryanair (of course), Aer Lingus, Air France, Vueling, easyJet, Wizz Air, Alitalia - to name a few of those that I have recently used.
It seems to me that an airline should have a website that works with any system, so that any would be customer can easily access it.

It has been brought up several times before, even in this topic, on their current website the drop-down menus sometimes don't work, it has even frustrated me already several times before, just for finding something simple as flightnumbers for a free ticket :x
But, if you absolutely need to book a flight with SN, instead of writing here old news, just type in your 'crappy browser' and take a look at websites like Kayak, Orbitz, Cheaptickets, Amadeus, Momondo, Hipmunk etc. You can actually find the same deals here as on SN's website, most times even easier (for me Kayak and Hipmunk are A+).

Expedia.fr is worth looking at too (better than Expedia.be imo).
In favor of quality air travel.

What happened to the new website?? It was online for a day/few hours at the end of June and it has disappeared since then.

Not very professional, if you ask me...

Still no sign of the new website. But, if SN is reading this forum, maybe they might wanna have a look at this:

Image

Leaves me to wonder if SN still has a web team. Luckily, if you click the little x at the bottom of that pop up screen, the booking engine will still continue to give you the results for a trip to TXL. If however you hit escape, the pop up screen disappears and you're back at the home screen. So, SN, I hope you haven't been noticing unusual low loads to Berlin...

Some time ago (about 1,5 months ago, I believe) I spoke with someone of their facebook-team and they said they were still working on that new website. Seems they are more bussy with that new website than updating outdated information on their current website.

btw, b-west, check their inflight magazines (also available through their website), they have an updated fleet summary. :P
