Then full power I think (MTOW ?)

I don't know the length of the runway, but I do know that under many circumstances aircrafts will T/O using derate thrust because it reduces wear on the engine and the excess thrust is not required.

BTW MTOW is Max T/O weight and not the power. ;)

Maybe he means they needed max thrust because they were at max TOW :wink: .

Indeed ! We dumped some passengers in Alicante, but we loaded others ! (those making ALC-AGP-BRU !) plus that load of newspapers, and we had to take-off from a shorter runway than our good old 25R :D in BRU ! So we needed much more power, which could not only be supplied by drinking Red Bull :D

Anyway, have you tried it with RedBull yet, you might be surprised to see the effect ;) ;)
