Why land the cockpit separately? Easier and healthier to land all the plane in once piece :mrgreen:

Still, if you'll pardon my insistence, landing the cockpit first is less commendable than landing the landing gear first - that's what it is for, you know... More specifically, land main gear first, in general; only the best pilots in the best conditions can try a hand at a three-pointer. And yes, I know, there's not always a choice: floatplanes and flying boats do not even offer that dilemma. then again, those are not landed, they are watered ... :roll:

Right again... can't argue with that.
Main reason I put cockpit landing actually is for the search engine on You Tube... as initially it doesn't go by the picture which would obviously indicate its a view from the cockpit... if I put just landing not that many people would get that as a search result...
