Belgocontrol today received from the Minister of Mobility, Jacqueline Galant, instructions to adapt air routes over Brussels.

In her statement, the minister asks Belgocontrol a return to the situation before February 6th. To this end, Belgocontrol will establish three new routes and adapt 17 other routes to the standards currently in force.

The complete procedure to make adjustments of routes requires 30 weeks. Despite the lack of instructions until now, Belgocontrol has already made preparations to shorten this period as much as possible. Now Belgocontrol will strive to introduce new routes by April 2.
