Blue1 to restructure

Blue1 will concentrate its activities on Northern markets, said its parent company SAS.

In order to reinforce the position of SAS Group in Finlande and improve the profitability of Blue1, a restructuration will soon take place. 5 Avro RJ-85s will be taken out of the fleet starting in August 2011, and 85 will have to leave the company.

A number of European destinations will be cancelled from Helsinki, such as Paris, London, Amsterdam, Munich and Tallinn. However a new Tampere - Copenhagen will be launched.
