Nice picture, Alain.

How do you put your camera settings in order to avoid that -in this kind of sunny weather- a white fuselage turns out overlit?

Hello,

For planespotting action shots, I use a 3 years old Nikon D300 with a 5 years old Sigma 70-200 f2.8 (+ 1.4 converter if required).
With this package, I never had this kind of "burned" white problem you mentionned. Before I used a D70 with a "common" lens ... and it was an other story indeed ! To answer to your question, I use the following set up :
shutter speed : between 500 - 1000 (Mainly 800 like for the Turkish B773), aperture between f8 - f10 (f10 for the B773), ISO 200 and D-Lightning in mode ON (medium).

Regards
Alain

Hello,

Thanks ! It's a 07R Take off. I took it from a mound in front of the new center build on the right hand side of the 127bis center indeed.

Hello,

Unfortunalely I can't help ... I catched it the day before (landing 25L) but not on 23/04.
