The Aviation Press Club awarded Jan Van der Cruysse PR Of The Year. With this award the association of
Belgian aviation journalists rewards the spokesman of Brussels Airport for the good professional relations Brussels Airport has entertained with the press these past 17 years.

Always ready to answer questions on the day-to-day activities at Brussels Airport, Jan Van der Cruysse also provides expert comment in moments of crisis. Following events such as the demise of national carrier Sabena, the attacks of 9/11, the Tarom and Kalitta crashes, strikes or the heavy snowfall in recent winters, the media shift to a higher gear pushing the spokesperson to stay sharp day and night.

The PR Of The Year award ceremony took place on Wednesday 6 April in Hof Ter Musschen in Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe in the presence of representatives of airlines and airport companies and members of the aviation press.
