Turning on to a North Westerly heading at FL400 EC-KSM - Air Pullmantur operating the MON683 flight into Manchester
A thunderstorm had passed by not long before and the cloud from the storm was illuminating the underside of the aircraft

Just saw the two turkish 777 pass over with great contrast, but didnt have the scope out as just got back from work. I think they operate another flight to JFK that passes in the evening THY11. I just hope he follows suit! Very nice capture of the air pullmantur Ian, nice etihad a346 capture from tcas alert - welcome to luchtzak btw, and great pic of the egyptair charlie.

Just saw the two turkish 777 pass over with great contrast, but didnt have the scope out as just got back from work. I think they operate another flight to JFK that passes in the evening THY11.

Turkish operates 3 times a day to JFK: THY3 (morning), THY1 (afternoon) and THY11 (evening). THY33 is to IAH.

Here's one from the early hours of 2nd May. Its now that time of year where If you manage to wake up early enough you can catch some nice surprises coming in off the atlantic.
